What level do you have to be to join the Club? Is it suitable for beginners?
The Blues Club contains resources and information suitable for players across a range of different levels. Having said that, it isn't intended for beginners that are totally new to the guitar. So if you don't know how to pick the strings on your guitar, play individual notes and a few basic chords, you might struggle with some of the material that is included in the Club.
If that is the case, I would recommend getting a few more hours of playing under your belt before coming back and joining up.
Can I buy courses individually without signing up?
At the moment, courses cannot be purchased individually. Making significant progress on the guitar takes time. And that's why I decided to start the Blues Club, rather than offering one off courses. I want to support you through your guitar playing journey and help you to really learn and step on as a guitarist, and I feel the Blues Club is the best way to do that.
Do you offer a free trial?
I am not currently offering a free trial. I put a lot of effort into the experience and progress of every member who joins, and that starts from the moment they sign up. How does the personalised feedback work?
Inside the Club area you can book personalised video feedback on your playing. All you need to do is upload a video of you playing, and add in any extra details you think are relevant., You do not need to download any software to upload your video; you can just use the webcam on your computer or the camera on your phone.
In the following days I will send across a personalised video giving you feedback on your playing, as well as a document outlining relevant exercises and techniques that will help you to improve.
How do the 1-2-1 guitar lessons work?
Every week inside the Club there will be a limited number of spaces available for 1-2-1 online guitar lessons. You will see the available slots on a calendar, and can book and pay through the Club area.
Once you do so, you will receive a link via Zoom, which you can use at your lesson time to connect through.
We can cover any topic you want, and following the lesson you will receive a detailed breakdown of the material covered during the lesson and recommendations of relevant exercises and techniques that will help you to improve.
How do I leave the Club?
I am sure you are going to love the Blues Club, and I certainly hope you won't want to cancel! However if for whatever reason you do decide that the Club isn't for you, you can easily cancel through your dashboard. Your monthly payments will stop and at the end of your billing period, you will lose access to the Club and all future material released in the Club.
If you cancel and you are on the annual plan, you will retain access until the end of your billing period. You will not be charged again following that date and at that point you will lose access to the Club and all future material released in the Club.
